Educational Diagnostician
Location: Allen, TX

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician to join our team in Allen, TX. The Educational Diagnostician will play a critical role in assessing and identifying the academic, cognitive, and emotional needs of students. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive educational assessments to identify students' academic strengths and weaknesses, cognitive abilities, and emotional needs
  • Analyze assessment data and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop appropriate individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide remendations for instructional strategies and acmodations to meet students' unique needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, updating IEPs and intervention plans as necessary
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and staff by providing strategies for effective classroom management, differentiation, and support for students with special needs
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student progress, eligibility, and remended services
  • Ensure pliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education services, including IDEA and Section 504
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster a collaborative, inclusive educational environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Educational Diagnostics, Special Education, or a related field
  • Texas Educational Diagnostician certification (required)
  • Experience working as an Educational Diagnostician or in a similar role within a school setting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of educational assessment tools, IEP development, and special education regulations
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, teachers, parents, and staff
  • Ability to analyze data, create action plans, and provide evidence-based remendations
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously
  • A passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
