Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Plainfield, IL. The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students to support their academic, social, and emotional development. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, collaborating with educators and families, and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students' learning and emotional needs.
  • Interpret test results and provide remendations for interventions and acmodations.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring special services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Provide counseling services to students to help them manage emotions, cope with personal issues, and develop social skills.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support students during critical situations.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mental health awareness and positive behavior.
  • Assist with the development of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, counseling sessions, and student progress in pliance with state and district regulations.
  • Offer guidance on developing and implementing school policies related to mental health and student well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with special education processes and legal requirements.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
