Our client is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join their team and help keep heavy trucks and equipment running at peak performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive, detail-oriented, and team-focused organization dedicated to excellence in service and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on all makes of diesel trucks with efficiency and in compliance with industry standards.

  • Diagnose and repair systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.

  • Provide accurate labor and time estimates for required repairs.

  • Communicate diagnoses and necessary repairs in clear, non-technical terms.

  • Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment to document findings and determine required repairs.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and techniques through ongoing formal training.

Qualifications:

  • Diesel experience with trucks is required.

  • ASE certifications in related fields are highly preferred.

  • Valid driver's license is required; CDL and DOT physical card are a plus.

  • Familiarity with shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and AC systems.

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and focused on providing exceptional customer service.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule within operating hours.
