Job Title: Audit Senior

Location: Bohemia, NY

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic audit team. The Audit Senior will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and delivering exceptional client service. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute all phases of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, for clients across various industries.

Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Review workpapers and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

Assess and test internal controls, identifying areas of risk and providing recommendations for improvement.

Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and other audit deliverables.

Communicate effectively with clients to address issues, resolve questions, and ensure satisfaction with audit services.

Stay informed on current accounting and auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.

Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client support and identify additional service opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.

3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit engagements.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with [specific tools/software, if applicable] is a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
