Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a 1st shift Warehouse Associate. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including the manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward throughout their shifts.

Responsibilities

• Scan correct boxes.
• Perform accurate order pulling while meeting productivity metrics.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
• Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.
• Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Essential Skills

• Experience with general labor and order pulling.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Skills in material handling, loading, picking, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing 10-50 lbs. without assistance.
• Comfortable with frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Steel-toed boots required.

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate-controlled warehouse. The position requires working Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 am, but you must be flexible with an 8:00 am start time. Employees will be working on uneven and concrete surfaces, and the role involves constant heavy lifting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00
