Now hiring housekeepers & janitors, for a health care facility, in the Macungie, PA area

2nd shift available; Mon-Fri + rotating weekends

$16.75/hr

Job duties & Responsibilities:

• Primarily cleaning hospital rooms when a patient is discharged, changing linens, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, and prepping room for next patient.
• Other responsibilities include: sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing common areas, restrooms, waiting areas, hall ways, cafeterias, clinics, etc.
• Lighter work, but fast pace environment. Very large campus means a lot of walking throughout your shift.
• May clean areas soiled with blood or bodily fluids

The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, presentable, and be comfortable with a lot of walking on their shift, detail oriented, and be comfortable and discreet while cleaning soiled items up to and including blood and bodily fluids. Ideal candidate will have great attendance and be able to work in a fast paced, possibly chaotic environment. Ideal candidate will need to be a go-getter, able to work independently, and should be comfortable working around sickly or deceased individuals.

Shifts and Working Environment: (multiple openings)

• 2nd-shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday + rotating weekends
