Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembler to join our team. The position involves assembly and packaging tasks using hand tools, reading blueprints (not requirement) , work instructions, and technical drawings. You will be responsible for taping boxes and counting inventory. This role requires mechanical assembly work, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble various size cases to store expensive equipment such as cameras.
  • Add foam to each case.
  • Assemble mid-size flashlights on the flashlight line.
  • Lift and handle items weighing between 7-35 lbs.
  • Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.
  • Operate small drills, hammers, and rivet machines.
  • Taping boxes and counting inventory.
  • Train on using pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in production, light industry, or mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Mechanical assembly skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or distribution.

Work Environment

Our work environment is clean and organized. You will be assembling heavy-duty cases for lighting accessories, cameras, and more. Safety glasses, gloves, and an orange vest are provided. Employees must supply their own steel-toed boots. The role requires working with various tools and may involve training on pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
