The Housekeeper is a member of the Housekeeping Department team and assists the professional staff in cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas in the hospital and satellite areas to maintain a safe, healthy, and aseptic environment for patients, visitors, and hospital personnel. This position is under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeper is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical, sterilization, and cleanliness protocols. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Housekeeper Skills & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable and responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and bathrooms daily, properly disposes of trash, and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures under the direct supervision of the supervisor.
  2. Demonstrates competency in Washington Health System Core Housekeeper Skills and Responsibilities.
  3. Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System.
  4. Competently completes all tasks, processes, and procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Housekeeping Skills & Responsibilities.

RATE: $16.01/HR & AFTER 90 DAYS IT GOES TO $16.47/HR PLUS ADDITIONAL SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS AVALIABLE

Shift: Monday-Friday 5PM-1AM, no weekends or holidays; but can be pulled to other shifts if needed based on the needs of the hospital. Primary cleaning area will be the IOR and ancillary areas, but may be pulled to other areas to clean based off the hospitals needs.
