Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Oswego, IL

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (2024-2025 School Year)

Job Description:

Soliant Health is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in Oswego, IL. This role involves working with students in K-12, assessing their needs, and providing therapy to help them thrive in both academic and everyday activities. The successful candidate will work closely with educators and parents to support students' development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide therapy to improve students fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress.

Requirements:

  • OT: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, Illinois state licensure.
  • COTA: Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy, Illinois state licensure.
  • Previous school or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Excellent munication and teamwork skills.
