Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM)

Are you an experienced Florida-Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) ready to lead a thriving resident-owned community in Southwest Florida? This is a unique opportunity to oversee a dynamic property featuring resort-style amenities, including a golf course and restaurant, while guiding its continued growth and recovery efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Leadership & Operations: Provide strategic oversight for community facilities, golf course, and food & beverage operations. Serve as a trusted liaison between the Board of Directors and homeowners, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
  • Crisis & Disaster Management: Manage recovery efforts following hurricanes and other challenges, ensuring quality repairs and support for residents during transitions.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage budgets, oversee assessments, and maintain the financial stability of the community.
  • Conflict Resolution: Enforce community bylaws with diplomacy, addressing resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Vendor & Team Coordination: Supervise department managers and work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience Matters: At least 5 years of experience managing resident-owned cooperatives, condominiums, or similar associations.
  • Licensed in Florida: A current and active Florida CAM license is required.
  • Golf & F&B Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with managing communities that include these amenities is critical.
  • Expertise in Cooperative Management: A deep understanding of Florida cooperative statutes is a must.
  • Crisis Management Skills: Proven ability to navigate disaster recovery and maintain community stability under pressure.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional skills in conflict resolution, working with diverse boards, and fostering positive relationships with residents.
