Job Title: Project Manager/Superintendent

Location: Bernalillo, NM

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in the construction and dirt work sectors. This role requires a blend of fieldwork and office responsibilities, with a focus on managing projects, directing crews, and ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the project team, including foremen and crew members.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  • Understand and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

  • Prepare and submit daily reports, timesheets, and other project documentation.

  • Travel to various job sites as required, with potential overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or dirt work sectors.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, equipment, and materials.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and Excel.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Salary Range:

  • $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
