Exciting Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Moreno Valley, CA

Are you an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in a supportive school environment? We have an excellent full-time opportunity in Moreno Valley, CA, where you can provide vital therapy services and help students reach their communication goals.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Moreno Valley, CA
Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week
Work Schedule: August 14th, 2024 - June 13th, 2025
Caseload: Approximately 50-55 students
Age Group: PreK - 6th Grade
Setting: Onsite Only
Buildings to Service: 1-2
Case Types: General Education, Mild to Moderate
Support: No SLPA
Pay Range: $48-$54 per hour

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Support: Provide exceptional speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students, focusing mainly on PreK to 6th grade.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals, and keep precise records of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • IEP Meeting Participation: Engage in IEP meetings to review student progress and update therapy goals.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California.
  • Certification: CCC-SLP required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred; looking for someone flexible and reliable who shows up every day.
