Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
Location: Greenville, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
A leading healthcare facility in Greenville, SC, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, assisting in plex surgeries to ensure patient safety and optimal outes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a sterile surgical environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
  • Assist surgeons by passing instruments and handling specialized cardiovascular equipment.
  • Set up and operate heart-lung machines, monitors, and other critical devices.
  • Monitor and document surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure seamless procedure flow.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies during procedures, adapting quickly to changing situations.
  • Assist in cleaning and restocking the operating room post-surgery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pletion of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Cardiovascular Technician (CVT) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a CVOR or similar surgical setting.
  • Proficiency in sterile techniques and cardiovascular surgical instrumentation.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments with a mitment to patient care.
  • Strong munication, teamwork, and organizational skills
