Job Title: Paraprofessional
Location: Gastonia, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, in accordance with the districts academic calendar
School Environment: Supportive and collaborative, fostering student success through individualized attention and teamwork.

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering educational instruction and managing classroom activities, ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed.
• Individualized Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, helping them with their academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Behavioral Management: Help implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring a structured and encouraging learning environment.
• Collaborative Work: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and administrators to align efforts in meeting student needs.
• Daily Assistance: Support students with various daily tasks, including academic work, classroom transitions, and social interactions.
• Family Communication: Assist in keeping open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any additional support needs.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or education in child development or education is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
