Offshore Wind Permitting Specialist

Summary: Seeking a Principal Permitting Specialist with extensive experience in offshore wind development and federal, state, and local permitting processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Ten+ years of job-related experience
- Demonstrated experience in Federal, State (NY/NJ), and/or Local permitting processes
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Article 7 related to construction
- Offshore wind development experience
- Experience interfacing with State and/or Federal Agencies
- Technically proficient within subject matter or demonstrated ability to learn the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Job Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of Federal and/or State permitting and environmental processes/requirements
- Familiarity with typical environmental studies required for infrastructure projects in NY/NJ and on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS)
- Understanding of processes to obtain easements, requirements within right-of-ways, and real estate acquisition/development
- Some travel required
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
