We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Human Resources Manager who is bilingual in Spanish and English. This role is an integral part of our financial services organization, with a focus on our casino gaming division. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the HR function, including employee relations, learning and development, and HR compliance. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions including:
1. Developing, implementing, and overseeing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
2. Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
3. Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
4. Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
5. Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
6. Identifying training needs for teams and individuals, and managing training programs to meet those needs.
7. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
8. Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees and management.
9. Managing HR systems such as iCIMS and Dayforce, ensuring data integrity and maximizing system capabilities for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. A master’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles, preferably within the finance or casino gaming industry.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
4. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
5. Strong understanding of HR systems such as iCIMS and Dayforce.
6. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential highly desirable.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of integrity and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
10. Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
