Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the general cleaning and sanitation of a flour mill, ensuring that the plant meets safety standards. You will be sweeping up flour dust, blowing flour off equipment, and performing lock out/tag out procedures when cleaning inside equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation of the flour mill.
• Sweep up flour dust and keep the plant clean to meet safety standards.
• Blow flour off equipment and then sweep it up.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures when cleaning inside equipment.
• Participate in cross-training for packing, milling, and other tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, cleaning, and packing.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and performing data entry.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong math aptitude with the ability to keep count, read, and write.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50
