Special Education Paraprofessional

Employment Type: Full-Time(Contract, W2)
Pay Rate: $18-20/hour
Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and managing data as directed by the Special Education Teacher or Behavior Supervisor.
• Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude while working with students, staff, and school leadership.
• Ensure consistent attendance and deliver reliable, high-quality support in the classroom.
• Partner with specialists to promote school readiness, early academic development, and encourage social interaction during group activities and recess.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• MUST hold at least one of the following:

1. Pass or have passedMN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam
2. Have at least 60 college credits, attach transcripts to present

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or with special needs students in a school setting preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish or American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus
