Position: Full-Time School Paraprofessional
Location: Laurens, SC

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our educational team in Laurens, SC. This full-time position involves providing essential support to students and teachers within the classroom, assisting with educational activities, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to help them achieve their academic and behavioral goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom instruction by assisting teachers with lesson implementation and student engagement.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning and provide additional support.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a supportive and orderly environment.
  • Assist students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing necessary accommodations.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as preparing instructional materials and maintaining records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff and follow instructions
