Job Description

This position maintains and improves the control system reliability of automated production equipment. When production system performance falls below acceptable levels, the technician must support troubleshooting efforts to avoid or minimize interruptions to production. A successful controls technician has a keen eye for details, an electrical aptitude, and is very comfortable with computers and industrial controls software. PLC technicians should be very familiar with Allen Bradley PLCs and troubleshoot inputs/outputs.

Shift available:

  • 3rd shift: Monday - Friday 11pm-7:30am

Pay rate:

  • $37.21 - $40.21/hour based on experience
Essential Skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot off electrical diagrams or schematics.
  • Experience electrically troubleshooting equipment or machinery.
  • Proficiency in control wiring.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Industrial Electrician or Controls Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand ladder logic and check inputs/outputs.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting, servos, and VFDs.
  • Experience working with 480V and 3-phase motors.
