Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you'll have the chance to provide critical support to students' social and emotional well-being. You'll work remotely, offering virtual counseling, assessments, and guidance to students, parents, and educators to foster a positive and inclusive learning community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students facing social and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's emotional well-being.
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance students' social and emotional growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in AZ.
- Experience in providing counseling and social-emotional support to students.
- Strong virtual counseling and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed emotionally.
