Job Overview

Project Engineer Electro-Mechanical systems for corona and plasma surface treatment equipment. The Engineer will be required to have knowledge with electrical controls as well as having hands on mechanical design experience. We are looking for a candidate with all the basic skill sets and the ability to learn and expand upon their knowledge.

Essential Functions

  • Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions

  • Able read measuring devices

  • Work closely with customers to resolve issues

  • Travel to customers facilities when needed

  • Follow work instructions & procedures

  • Modify schematics as needed

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Aid in electrical & mechanical trouble shooting

  • Inspect assemblies for accuracy

  • Solder wires

  • Accurately complete assembly orders in the current routing time

  • Maintain Critical Inventory & other inventory parts - submit FRP in a timely manner

  • Perform general housekeeping as required

  • Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned

Essential Functions

  • Operate overhead crane

  • Operate power tolls

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or higher education preferred

  • Technical certifications or related training

  • Experience working with electrical systems

  • Able to read & comprehend mechanical & electrical drawings

  • Required to read, understand and follow electrical schematics

  • Knowledge of general wiring & mechanical systems is required.

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces, or other devices that could be affected by induction fields

Job Type: Full-time
