Volt is immediately hiring for a Deburrer in Oxnard, CA

This is a full time position.

Pay rate :$17.00 -18.00 per hour

Hours are : 6:00am-2:30pm

As a Deburrer, you will

  • Use surface deburring, sanding and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufacture parts to specification
  • Visually and physically inspect forged parts to ensure all excess metal is removed
  • Select the proper size de-burr/grinder to remove excess metal from manufactured parts
  • Remove defects and flash extension per part requirements
  • Maintain accurate part and or work piece counts
  • Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific traveler
Deburrer candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience working with air powered tools on metal parts/products
  • 1-2 years of High School or equivalent.
  • Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibilty requirements.
Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Basic English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehend).
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisor, and QC personnel
  • Ability to use and operate equipment.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
  • Able to work in a demanding fast paced environment
