Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A school in the Lincoln, NEarea is in urgent need of a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a year-round position. The SLP's responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and munication disorders, creating customized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers. The director is prepared to promptly review applications and conduct interviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and munication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patients unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide remendations for student support.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
  • Experience working in a school setting as an SLP is preferred.

Education:

  • Must have a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
  • Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
