Soliant Education is collaborating with a school district near Seymour, CT, to fill a critical role for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This full-time position involves supporting elementary students and requires candidates with an Associate degree or higher, or completion of the para exam.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible.

  • Work Hours: Full-time.

  • Education Requirement:

    • Must have an Associate degree or higher, or completion of the para exam.

  • Student Level: Elementary.

Responsibilities:

As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary duties include:

  1. Behavioral Support:

    • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

  2. Data Collection:

    • Collect and record data on student behavior during sessions.

  3. Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with the special education team and other professionals.

  4. Support Plans:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior support plans.

Qualifications:

  • RBT Certification: Hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
