Job Description: We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team near Galveston, Texas. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students with speech and language needs. This role involves providing direct therapy, assisting with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaborating with teachers and parents to enhance student munication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate munication strategies.
  • municate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Valid Texas SLPA license.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and munication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP.
