Full-Time Special Education Teacher Near Indianola, MS
ProCare Therapy has a contract job position open for a K-12 Special Education teacher in our school district, located in Greenville, MS. As a ProCare Therapy employee, you will be compensated with weekly pay and quality benefits. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate educator who can create individualized learning plans, implement effective teaching strategies, and collaborate with other staff members and families to support student success.
Start/End Date: ASAP- End of Spring Semester (High chance of Renewing contract for 25/26 School Year)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities. You will be working a full time position with a K-12 caseload across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of elementary school students.
- Monitor and assess students progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and other required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- MS SPED certification (Required)
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
