We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Litigation Support Case Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in legal case management, who is also proficient in Relativity Analytics. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation support, including the coordination of electronic discovery (e-discovery) processes, data management, and the application of technology in our legal department. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex litigation cases and be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge technology to enhance our legal operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of litigation support, including the coordination of e-discovery processes, data management, and technology application.
2. Utilize Relativity Analytics for managing complex litigation cases, including data processing, analysis, review, and production.
3. Coordinate with legal counsel, IT personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective case management.
4. Develop and implement case management strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Provide technical support and training to legal staff on the use of litigation support software and tools.
6. Monitor the progress of litigation cases and provide regular updates to senior management.
7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in relation to data management and e-discovery.
8. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance litigation support and case management.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation support or a related field, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
2. Proficiency in Relativity Analytics and other litigation support software and tools.
3. Strong understanding of e-discovery processes, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
4. Excellent case management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex litigation cases simultaneously.
5. Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to litigation support software and tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with legal counsel, IT personnel, and other stakeholders.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis.
8. Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field. A paralegal certification or advanced degree in a related field would be an advantage.
