Mutual Fund Reporting Associate

Are you a highly motivated CPA with a passion for mutual fund reporting? We are seeking a talented and experienced Mutual Fund Reporting Associate to join our dynamic team.

As a Mutual Fund Reporting Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our mutual fund financial reports. You will be responsible for:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for mutual fund clients.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with audit teams to provide technical expertise on mutual fund accounting and reporting standards.
  • Third-Party Service Provider Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., BNY Mellon, State Street, Northern Trust) to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate reporting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and prepare reports as needed to support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting or auditing, preferably within a Big 4 firm
  • Strong understanding of mutual fund accounting and reporting standards
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, financial accounting systems)
