Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented and collaborative individuals to join our team as Assemblers. In this role, you will be cross-trained in various areas and be responsible for multiple steps of our 12-step process to refurbish and prepare modems for shipment.

Responsibilities
  • Document received items.
  • Manually perform factory resets by pressing a button.
  • Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units and determining repair needs (cycle times: 60-90 minutes).
  • Perform Wi-Fi tests.
  • Conduct elevated temperature tests.
  • Perform cosmetic cleaning.
  • Execute cosmetic repairs.
  • Conduct in-process quality control (IPQC).
  • Prepare kits.
  • Palletize kits for shipment to AT&T.
  • Prepare items for shipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with assembly, packing, and retail.
  • Experience in repair, refurbishing, and quality inspection.
  • Skills in soldering, using test equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools.
  • General labor experience.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new facility built specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. Located in Elgin, IL, the site is conveniently situated close to major roads, gas stations, and restaurants.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
