ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our respected school district in Fairfield, CT, for the 2024-2025 school year. If youre passionate about supporting student development and making a difference, we want to hear from you

Position Overview:
  • Location: Fairfield, CT
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
  • Grade Levels: K-12 (Assignments based on your experience and preferences)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular school hours
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to assigned students to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and implement effective behavior strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Apply behavioral management techniques as needed throughout the school day.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $22-26 (based on experience)

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teaching assistant is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
  • A strong commitment to supporting student learning and growth.
Interview Process:
  • Quick 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual or in-person interview with the school district
  • Offers are generally made within 24 hours after the interview
