Job Description

Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements. Perform inspections using Magnetic Particle Test (MT), Eddy Current Test (ET), and Penetrant Test (PT). Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order. Perform all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly process control checks. Document and organize inspection results. Interface and communicate with engineers to describe inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and specification requirements.
• Perform inspections using Magnetic Particle Test (MT), Eddy Current Test (ET), and Penetrant Test (PT).
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order.
• Perform all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly process control checks.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Interface and communicate with engineers to describe inspection results.

Essential Skills

• 1 to 3 years of aerospace-related experience; military aircraft maintenance experience; prop maintenance experience.
• Code shooting capabilities.
• NAS 410 certification in Magnetic Particle Test (MT), Penetrant Test (PT), Eddy Current Test (ET), and Ultra Sonic (UT Share wave) with direct experience in inspecting and interpreting aluminum cast products.
• Experience in NDT inspection, Ultrasonic testing, Nondestructive testing, X-ray, Quality control/testing, and Liquid penetrant.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Representative knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00
