Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

  • The Gage Technician/Quality Inspector supports manufacturing operations and is responsible for controlling measuring equipment, gages, and checking fixtures used in the manufacturing plant.

Job Description:

  • Maintain and service Gages and related equipment used by production team
  • Install/Un-Install, exchange, and/or clean gages
  • Perform audits
  • Conduct inventory checks
  • Fill out necessary forms and EOS reports
  • Work with Gage engineers to support the production team
  • Perform PM's on gages and gage benches
  • General housekeeping and cleaning of gage office and other areas

Work Environment
  • 3rd party quality inspection company inside of General Motors
  • Automotive facility, large and requires extensive walking
  • Non-climate controlled
  • Need one laborer on 2nd shift
  • Training on day shift is the normal protocol to ensure proper training and learning
  • $20.82 starting pay
  • Steel-toed shoes required in facility
  • High visibility vests are provided
