Behavior Tech / CBT / RBT - Full-Time Contract | Burlington, WA

Employment Type: Contract | Onsite

ProCare Therapy is hiring multiple Behavior Techs (BT), CBTs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support secondary level students on the autism spectrum and with low cognitive abilities for the 2024-2025 school year. Join our team in Burlington, WA and make a significant impact on students' lives while working under the supervision of a BCBA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the BCBA to assist with IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs
  • Implement behavioral interventions and support students with extreme behaviors (e.g., self-injury, aggression)
  • Assist in data collection, progress monitoring, and assessments
  • Support the teacher in managing the classroom and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment
  • Provide personal care and physical assistance to students as needed (feeding, toileting, etc.)
  • Provide clerical assistance with materials, data entry, and classroom prep

Position Details:

  • Location: Burlington, WA (Zip Code: 98233)
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 16, 2025
  • Hourly Rate: $22-25/hr (depending on experience)
  • Caseload: Secondary students with autism and low cognitive abilities
  • Interviews: Available via Zoom or in-person

Qualifications:

  • 40-hour BT course completed or RBT certification from the WA state health department
  • Experience with students exhibiting extreme behaviors (preferred)
  • Ability to assist with personal care and use adaptive equipment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
