Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:The Administrative Support III role is responsible for analyzing training needs, designing and implementing training programs, and ensuring consistency in training methods across manufacturing operations. This position collaborates with local manufacturing leadership to enhance the effectiveness of divisional training, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data and analyze trends and gaps to design, develop, and implement in-house training or identify and contract with external training resources.
- Benchmark actual workstation production sequences and conditions against current job-task lists and training program materials.
- Collaborate with local Manufacturing Leadership teams to drive the effectiveness of divisional manufacturing training, ensuring consistency with Standard Work and Continuous Improvement methods.
- Coordinate and participate in the selection of Training Champions and Process Trainers, creating a Trainer Certification process to qualify production line personnel as On-the-Job trainers.
- Establish and prioritize needed training improvements within product lines; develop manufacturing training curricula and facilitate “train the trainer” classes.
- Support the creation or update of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), Job Breakdowns (JB), and Single Point Lessons (SPLs) for Continuous Improvement and Operations to enable the continuous creation of training packets.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct training curricula based on assessed training needs, including skill development programs for departmental employees.
- Conduct training assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in developing programs in Technology, Aerospace, Military, and the ITAR industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on training and development.
