Medical Small Parts Assembler 1st 2nd Shifts

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling small medical parts, such as catheters, using small hand tools and microscopes. This role requires working with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to safety requirements, and completing assignments accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities- Assemble small medical parts using hand tools and microscopes.
- Operate equipment such as adhesive dispensers, vertical shrinkers, braiders, tipping machines, drilling, punching, and measuring devices.
- Maintain accurate written records of materials used, procedures followed, and inspection features on supplied data forms.
- Advise on the need for repairs and upgrades to manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers.
- Track materials, tools, and procedures during device manufacturing.
- Ensure incoming materials meet purchase order specifications.
- Support project leaders with modifications to written procedures and suggest improvements.
- Perform testing of devices or components according to written protocols and test procedures.
- 2+ years of assembly experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with small piece assembly.
- Detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods.
- Medical or pharmaceutical assembly experience highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with microscopes.
- Experience with plastic part assembly, adhesive bonding, materials knowledge, and prototyping.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
- Understanding of measurement units and ability to take and comprehend measurements.
- Dexterity with hands for working with small parts.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a clean room environment, adhering to GMP standards, and wearing lab coats, hairnets, and foot covers. The facility includes ISO class 7 clean rooms with equipment ranging from injection molding machines to custom forming equipment. This role involves repetitive tasks while sitting and requires the use of microscopes and small hand tools.
