Special Education Teacher with Behavior Experience
Are you a talented Special Educator that specializes in working with students with severe behavior needs? ProCare Therapy is actively searching forskilled Special Education Teacher with experience in behavior management to join one of our trusted school districts located in the beautiful Malone, Washington.The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with students who exhibit challenging behaviors and possess the ability to implement effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs) alongside individualized education plans (IEPs). As a Behavior Specialist, you will provide both academic instruction and behavioral support in various educational settings, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure student success.

Job Description
- 6-12 students on caseload with high needs
- Moderate/severe
- Spread across grades K-5
- Full time position - 37.5 hours per week
- Ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with challenging behaviors
- Interviewing ASAP

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
- Active state Teaching License
- Active state Certification
- Proficient in Case Management
- Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
