Physical Therapist Opportunity in Bridgeview, IL
ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a full-time Physical Therapist position for the 2024-2025 school year in Bridgeview, IL. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to work with students from ages 3 through Grade 12, with a primary focus on K-8 caseloads.
Position Overview:
- Position: Physical Therapist
- Contract Duration: Full 2024-2025 School Year
- Hours: Full-Time
- Caseload: K-12, with a focus on K-8
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students across multiple school sites.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students physical development goals.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students functional abilities and academic success.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations to improve student participation and mobility.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois
- Preferred experience working with school-aged children, particularly K-8
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and provide services across multiple school locations
