Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Glendale, California

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and mitted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Glendale, California. This role involves providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, promoting their munication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform prehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified speech and language needs.
  • Deliver targeted therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as required.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert remendations and insights.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current California State License in Speech-Language Pathology (issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board).
  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (or eligibility for this credential).
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
