Job Description

Candidates will be working with hand tools to assemble and inspect metal parts to ensure they meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for assembling and inspecting 25-50 parts per day, depending on the production requirements. Following detailed work instructions to ensure the assembly meets the required standards is essential. Additionally, you will need to fill out various reports, orders, and reject forms as part of your duties.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to assemble metal parts.
• Inspect metal parts to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Assemble 25-50 parts per day depending on the production requirements.
• Follow detailed work instructions for accurate assembly.
• Complete reports, orders, and reject forms accurately.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience using hand tools.
• 1+ years of experience in parts manufacturing.
• Ability to use a tape measure (candidates will be tested during the interview).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment includes first and second shifts with varying hours: First shift typically runs from 6am-2:30pm, with extended hours from 4:30am-3pm during 10-hour shifts. Second shift hours are from 3pm-11:30pm or 3:30pm-12am, with extended hours from 3pm-1:30am during 10-hour shifts. Candidates usually do not work overtime until they have been with the company for a few weeks.
