A school in the Daly City, California area is looking to find a full-time, onsite School Psychologist (PSYCH) for the a Maternity Leave Coverage during the 2024-2025 school year, roughly August 2024 - January 2025. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable candidate who meets the requirements listed below:

Requirements:

  • Must have an active School Psychology California License
  • Must have Master s Degree or Doctoral Level Degree in School Psychology
  • Must be licensed through the California Board
  • Must have an active Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

  • 08/14/2024 - 01/31/2025 (tentatively)
  • Full-time / 37.5 hours a week
  • Caseload: maternity leave coverage, K - 8th grade,
  • Pay Range: $40 - $70 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological tests: Use a range of tests to determine the pupils' cognitive skills, emotional stability, and social functioning.
  • Develop and Implement Intervention Plans: Working with educators, parents, and other stakeholders, develop thorough intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff members to support students' academic achievement and general growth.
