Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Sonographer to join a leading medical facility in Rochester, NY. This position involves working evening shifts and provides a fantastic opportunity for experienced sonographers to apply their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including general, vascular, and OB/GYN imaging.
- Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care throughout each exam.
- Accurately document and manage imaging results.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive diagnostic services.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment following safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- ARDMS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer.
- Ability to work the evening shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
