Mechanical Inspector

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Inspector to inspect machine parts and 3D printed parts, with expertise in GD&T and CMM programming.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive knowledge of inspection techniques, GD&T tolerancing, and test equipment
Proficiency with PC skills, including Excel, Word, and other database software
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the medical device industry
Job Responsibilities:
Perform in-coming, in-process, and final inspections using GD&T and test procedures
Conduct mechanical & visual inspection on incoming materials, machined parts, 3D parts, mechanical assemblies, and sub-assemblies
Develop and document new inspection test methods, CMM programs, Optical CMM programming, and fixturing
Maintain Design History Files (DHF) for each incoming and finished product
Manage all incoming inspection logs, forms, and test records
Present inspection quality metric data; coordinate with Quality Engineering and Operations on quality trends
Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
