Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Inspector to inspect machine parts and 3D printed parts, with expertise in GD&T and CMM programming.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Extensive knowledge of inspection techniques, GD&T tolerancing, and test equipment

  • Proficiency with PC skills, including Excel, Word, and other database software

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the medical device industry

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-coming, in-process, and final inspections using GD&T and test procedures

  • Conduct mechanical & visual inspection on incoming materials, machined parts, 3D parts, mechanical assemblies, and sub-assemblies

  • Develop and document new inspection test methods, CMM programs, Optical CMM programming, and fixturing

  • Maintain Design History Files (DHF) for each incoming and finished product

  • Manage all incoming inspection logs, forms, and test records

  • Present inspection quality metric data; coordinate with Quality Engineering and Operations on quality trends



Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
