We are in search of a Director of Finance to join our team located just north of Nashville, Tennessee. As a pivotal part of our team, your role will be centered around managing the financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities of the organization. You will be responsible for developing the company's financial budget, preparing financial forecasts, and maintaining relationships with banks and auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial planning and investment activities of the organization.

• Develop and implement internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budget administration, cash, and credit management.

• Prepare and present financial reports and risk analyses to senior management.

• Supervise finance staff and manage their performance to boost productivity and development.

• Provide advice on long-term business and financial planning.

• Maintain relationships with banks and auditors.

• Communicate and present critical financial matters at select board meetings.

• Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies associated with finance and risk management.

• Use accounting software systems and other tools for data analysis and forecasting.

• Handle monthly bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.

• Oversee accounts payable and annual budgeting processes.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Experience in preparation and management of the Annual Budget
• Solid understanding of Auditing techniques and procedures
• Ability to oversee and manage Budget Processes
• Experience in preparing Annual Forecasts
• Skills in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Experience in conducting Monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Ability to manage Month End Close procedures
