Bilingual School Psychologist Position

Location: Elsmere, NY

Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual School Psychologist to join our team in Elsmere, NY. The Bilingual School Psychologist will work closely with students, staff, and families to assess and support the emotional, academic, and behavioral needs of students, ensuring they have the necessary resources for success. This position requires fluency in both English and a second language, with a focus on bilingual munication with students and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments in both English and the target language.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral health.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring pliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid New York School Psychologist certification.
  • Fluency in English and a second language (required).
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
