Location: North Saint Paul, MN
Position Type: Full-time | 30+ hours per week
Caseload Details:1:1 Assignment
Role Overview:
ProCare Therapy is on the lookout for a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionalto support our esteemed partner school districts in the North St. Paul, MN area. This role is essential in assisting students with special needs and contributing to their educational journey throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply behavior management strategies to help students develop positive social skills and appropriate behaviors.
- Track and report on student progress, sharing insights with the supervising teacher or educational team.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to facilitate learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years of college experience OR have passed the MN Paraprofessional Exam
- Candidates with previous paraprofessional experience but not meeting other requirements will still be considered.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Previous experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum or Non-verbal students is preferred.
