Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Endicott, New York. This role is in the accounting industry and will involve a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and general accounting. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in account reconciliation, data entry and invoice processing, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities
• Manage and process accounts payable entries accurately
• Maintain and update fixed assets records
• Conduct 3-way match processes to ensure accuracy of invoices
• Utilize JD Edwards software for various accounting tasks
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records
• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Assist in other accounting projects as needed• Proficient in Account Reconciliation.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Knowledge and understanding of Billing procedures.
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks.
• Experience with Invoice Processing is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A team player with a customer-oriented approach.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
