About the Position:
Soliant Education is looking for an experienced School Psychologist for an onsite contract position in Ada, TX for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role will serve a K-12 caseload and includes responsibilities such as conducting psychological testing, attending ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, facilitating MDRs (Manifestation Determination Reviews), and providing individual and group counseling. The position requires familiarity with the ESPED system for case management and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for K-12 students, assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Write detailed assessment reports and provide recommendations for educational and behavioral interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
  • Attend ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Participate in MDR (Manifestation Determination Review) meetings to assess student behavior in disciplinary situations and provide insights for behavior management.
  • Utilize ESPED for case management, data entry, and report documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies that support student success.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with district policies, state laws, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Texas School Psychologist certification (or the ability to obtain certification before starting).
  • Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred.
  • Familiarity with the ESPED system or other school-based documentation software (training available if needed).
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to manage a caseload across multiple grade levels and campuses.
  • Experience with ARD and MDR meetings is preferred but not required.
