Bloomingdale, United States National Veterinary Associates Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description
Faulkville Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are seeking an experienced DVM or enthusiastic new graduate who loves to give excellent care to their patients, form lasting bonds with clients, and be part of a team that loves what they do
We are a primarily small animal hospital (95%+) with some large animal clients. One of our clients is a zoo, so you will get exotics experience outside of the hospital on animals such as zebras, camels and monkeys. We work with numerous non-profit organizations/rescues in the area to help provide affordable veterinary treatment, as well as low cost spays/neuters for their rescues.
We have a high staff-to-doctor ratio and a well-equipped hospital, allowing you to utilize your skills to focus on the client and patient. Our doctor team offers strong support of each other’s mentorship & professional growth with attention toward maintenance of positive work-life balance. We have the option to order new technology and receive dedicated CE/training on it.
Bloomingdale, GA is a small community where we are well-respected and we really can make a difference in people's lives as we educate them about keeping their pets healthy. Our close proximity to Savannah, GA provides access to great restaurants, entertainment, and coastal outdoor activities.
We are offering competitive compensation - Base salary and 20,000 sign-on bonus New grads welcome Any new grad that brings a fellow DVM candidate with them that is hired, will get an additional 10,000 bonus Check out our website to learn more about our hospital: www.faulkvilleanimalhospital.comCompany DescriptionNVA was founded in 1996 by Stanley Creighton, DVM, with an emphasis on supporting local medical standards as established by individual hospitals and practitioners. He believed that veterinary medicine is best practiced when veterinarians craft their own hospital and community specific strategies for high quality patient care and client services.

The vision continues at NVA as we make available the tools and resources for hospitals to achieve their medical goals while avoiding any single standardized national plan that might not be the best fit for an individual hospital. The variety of tools and resources we provide include emerging research and care standards, access to our national medical database, human resource guidance, marketing support, recruiting assistance, tax preparation, and training and education for staff. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA provides the support to get them there.
