Coppell, TX: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant has partnered with a large school district near Coppell, TX, and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services for school-aged students. At this time, most caseload assignments will be centered in elementary schools. Candidates who wish to work with older students can work with the speech team to determine a site assignment that aligns with their clinical interests.
Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Participate in ARD(Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meeting to determine student eligibility
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
